Blesq AI, up close
An AI photo and video app built for iOS. Here is how it works, what keeps it fast, and what a generation costs, in plain words.
Three taps between a photo and a finished piece
Open the catalog and pick an effect: a cyberpunk city, a watercolor portrait, an anime scene, a classic film look. Upload one photo; that is all the input Blesq AI needs.
Generation runs in the cloud, so you can close the app and get on with your day; a push notification arrives the moment the result is ready. Everything you create is kept in secure cloud storage under your account, and signing in takes one tap with Apple or Google.
The screenshot shows the live catalog: the app currently ships in Russian, as Blesq AI launched for the Russian market first.
What it takes to make one tap reliable
A consumer AI app is only as good as its busiest hour. Most of our engineering goes into the parts you never see.
A catalog, not a feed
Over 40 photo and video effects, each one built in-house: we write and tune the prompts, run rounds of test generations, and ship a style only once it reliably keeps the person in the photo recognizable.
Fast at peak hours
Every generation goes through our own platform, which queues requests and spreads them across pools of accounts at several AI model providers, so results stay quick even when everyone is generating at once.
Credits you can predict
You buy a credit pack and spend it effect by effect, and every effect shows its exact price before you run it. If a generation fails, the credits come back automatically; you never pay for a result you didn't get.
A marketplace for effect creators
A large part of our current engineering work is a marketplace layer: a way for creators to submit their own style references to the catalog and earn from the generations those references produce. It runs on the same platform that serves the catalog today.
